Inductive Bible Study

I'm reading a guidebook on doing personal inductive Bible studies.  It's been a very long time since I've done any real, deep, organized Bible study and I've been quite inconsistent with my personal devotionals.  I needed to get into this book so I can reinvigorate my desire to get into the Book.  Not that I've lost interest, but I remember what it was like when I was on fire, struggling through, exploring new places, finding wealth in well-trodden places, searching for treasure, digging deeply, and inevitably growing.
