I'm going to post more than just opinion pieces from now on; I'll be posting lessons I give in youth group and Next Level class. Also, I'll add lessons I may give in the future. I got the idea when my sister Liv and I discussed my blog. She suggested it be more like a lecture. A few days later, I finally filled up the notebook that I use to prepare my lessons. I went to buy another notebook and decided that, unlike the old one, the new one would exclude any mention of my daily life and focus more on deep thought, devotionals, and lessons, along with the opinion. Then I realized, since I already blog for a broad audience, from young teens on up, why not just transfer what I write in my lesson notebook to my blog?
So if any of my writing seemed ground level and basic before, it will be even more so from here on out. But that doesn't mean the reader can't learn something. Sometimes, going back to the basics may bring a person to a greater level of understanding, both of himself and the world around him.
Some of these lesson posts will be back-dated to September, when youth group started for the year.
